Materials Engineering is indispensible in supplying materials to any industrialized nation. The curriculum is designed to provide fundamental knowledge of basic engineering and extensive coverage of the broad range of fields within the materials discipline. The program leads to applications of fundamental principles for specific designs.
Students may pursue the following degree programs: B.Eng., B.Eng. (co-op), M.Eng.; M.A.Sc.; B.Eng./M.A.Sc. (co-op), and a Ph.D.
Materials Engineering is affiliated with the Minerals Engineering Center which provides mineral processing services, consultation and pilot plant scale testing to industry.
